Working between the mediums of drawing, painting, and etching, Kate seeks to capture a distinct sense of stillness in her work. Through constant drawing and reimagining, whether from life or imagination, she is interested in crafting images capable of immersing the viewer in a seemingly tangible reality. She explores the balance between the materiality of images and their emotional resonance, constructing imagined spaces and scenarios involving figures, taken from the humdrum of daily life.
